Safe Enough to Stay

Matarozzi Pelsinger Builders volunteered to build a post-earthquake education exhibit at the SPUR Center in San Francisco.  The exhibition featured a makeshift studio apartment with instructions on how to to shelter in place after a devastating earthquake.   The exhibit also included a mock neighborhood emergency center, which would provide essential services and information for residents who remain in their homes.   Through various displays, the public was educated on high risk structures, liquefaction/landslide zones, potential disruptions to basic services, and survival materials.
