Great Highway Project

An 1,800 square foot free-standing addition faces the beach on the Great Highway. This new three story building connects to the existing house by a glass-walled bridge. The design is modern and sleek. The building is clad entirely in Cor-Ten steel panels. All framing constructed with engineered lumber. The construction includes retractable glass walls, cantilevered balconies and a large third floor deck. Features include exposed Ardex concrete floors, minimalist trim, straight lines, stainless steel/glass guardrails and decorative steel elements throughout.
